TASTE OF BELGIUM KICKS OFF ‘LAST CALL TRIVIA’ AT NEW UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS BISTRO
Twelve-week Wednesday Night Game Experience Aims to
Engage UC Student Body and Anyone Who Just Wants to Have Fun
CINCINNATI, OH –January 10, 2024— Taste of Belgium, the Cincinnati-based Belgian-inspired restaurant group, is launching ‘Last Call Trivia’, an app-based group game that covers a wide range of subjects and difficulty levels, at its recently opened University Heights bistro at 165 W. McMillan and Clifton Avenue near the University of Cincinnati campus. Taste of Belgium’s ‘Last Call Trivia’ kicks off this Wednesday, January 10 from 7 – 9 p.m. and every Wednesday for the next twelve weeks, through March 27, to create fun and meaningful team camaraderie at its University Heights bistro.
“We really want to create a sense of community with the University of Cincinnati student body – ‘Last Call Trivia’ is a way to do just that in a very welcoming way”, said Jean-François Flechet, Founder of Taste of Belgium. Participants choose a team captain, create a team of up to eight people and download the app – the Taste of Belgium host then begins each session with an initial question. UC students can use their UC Bearcat card for food and beverages at Taste of Belgium University Heights. On every ‘Last Call Trivia’ night, Taste of Belgium University Heights will offer a rotating draft beer, starting with Bavik, a classic Belgian Pilsner or Fireball with choice of burger for $12. Other food specials will be announced in February.
‘Last Call Trivia’ players will also have the opportunity to sample Taste of Belgium’s proprietary 5.9% ABV IPA developed in collaboration with Musketeers Brewery in Belgium. Taste of Belgium has also created a version of its famous Prince Edward Island Mussels, Chorizo Mussels sauteed in white wine, garlic, onion, tomatoes, with local chorizo, cilantro and lime, and served with frites during dinner only. Additionally, its new “Not a Burrito” features local chorizo, Taste of Belgium’s breakfast potatoes and eggs wrapped in a sweet crêpe accented with jalapeno crema and pico de gallo.

Food and monetary prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place at the end of each game session every Wednesday evening. Advance registration is not necessary, and teams can be created with friend groups or assigned once at the University Heights bistro.
All Taste of Belgium University Heights menu items and 24 draft beers are available for delivery through DoorDash and UberEats. Taste of Belgium will provide full menu delivery service on the UC campus and surrounding areas, when ordering online at www.authenticwaffle.com/order.
