KENTUCKY GIRL SCOUTS ANNOUNCE IN-PERSON COOKIE SALES

New Raspberry Rally™ Exclusively Online; All Other Cookie Favorites Available Through In-Person Sales Starting January 1

ERLANGER, KY – December 28, 2022–– The Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road (GSKWR) launches the 2023 Cookie Season with the brand-new, Raspberry Rally™ cookie, being offered exclusively online to provide girls with omnichannel selling experience. Starting Sunday, January 1, customers can support Kentucky’s Girl Scouts by ordering their favorite cookies, like Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites® and Adventurefuls™, in-person through Friday, January 27, 2023, or online. By purchasing the Raspberry Rally™ cookie or other iconic Girl Scout Cookies, customers support Kentucky Girl Scouts’ experiences throughout the year and help them practice entrepreneurial skills.

The new Raspberry Rally is a thin crispy cookie infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in the same delicious chocolaty coating as the beloved Thin Mints cookies. This must-try new cookie is the first Girl Scout Cookie to be exclusively offered for online sale and direct shipment only, enhancing girls’ e-commerce sales, teaching goal-setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics. The classic Shortbread cookie, inspired by the original Girl Scout cookie recipe, has been renamed the Trefoil®. All proceeds from in-person and online cookie sales stay local, supporting STEM and outdoor experiences for Kentucky girls.  The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world, as one part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Kentucky Girl Scouts participate in various hands-on activities throughout the year that help them feel empowered to shape their own experience, the cookie program being one of them.
