LAROSA’S BOUDINOT PIZZERIA DINING ROOM REOPENS FOLLOWING TOTAL INTERIOR RENOVATION

Major Improvements to Iconic West Side Cincinnati Restaurant Focus on Family Get-Togethers,

Group Celebrations

CINCINNATI, OH – October 17, 2022 –A mainstay for Guests on Cincinnati’s West Side, the original LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria at 2411 Boudinot Avenue, has been serving its family recipe pizza and a full menu of appetizers, calzones, hoagys, salads and pastas for dine in, pick up or delivery since 1954.  So, for nearly 70 years, generations of LaRosa’s Guests have come to rely on the Boudinot pizzeria as a gathering place for regular lunches and dinners as well as after-school sporting events, and church group gatherings.

“When we first discussed renovating Boudinot, we were really drawn to the opportunity to expand and improve our meeting rooms with larger groups in mind,” said Mike LaRosa, CEO of LaRosa’s, Inc. That’s why the LaRosa family focused a good portion of the over $1 million it spent on bigger, more flexible meeting rooms- one of which can accommodate up to 100 people. And while many things have changed, some familiar things got even better. The former “Buddy Room” has been reimagined as “Buddy’s Private Dining Room” that’s perfect for a gathering of up to 16 Guests.

“We are fortunate to have so many loyal Guests – generations of families who’ve been dining here all their lives. So, I think it’s as important to them as it is to us to get this right.  We updated the interior to more closely align with our overall brand. But, our heritage is who we are, so we kept some of the memorabilia that’s been here for decades,” LaRosa said. “So, you’ll still see the mural on the wall, a section dedicated to Buddy LaRosa’s High School Sports Hall of Fame and three of our meeting rooms are named in memory of the Italian Inn, The Wine Cellar and LaRosa’s Italian Market- all former favorites that used to be on this same site” he continued.

The expansive new Boudinot dining room uniquely accommodates groups of friends, neighbors and family who want to enjoy a meal together. The legendary Buddy Table – a massive round table for 10+ Guests – has been joined by two additional substantial round tables, for a total of three Buddy Tables for Guests to gather around.

LaRosa’s Boudinot has evolved significantly over nearly seven decades.  From the 1950s into the 1990s, it incrementally expanded as neighboring spaces became available. In 1996, the entire site was razed (along with the Italian Inn, The Wine Cellar and LaRosa’s Italian Market) and the pizzeria and Italian Market were rebuilt. The next major renovation in 2004 saw the Italian Market phased out and the pizzeria made larger. LaRosa’s made modest updates in years since.

The current renovation, which began in July, represents LaRosa’s most substantial investment in over twenty years. “Dad (LaRosa’s founder Buddy LaRosa) started it all here in 1954. His hard work, that of generations of LaRosa’s Team Members and the unbelievable support from our loyal Guests brought us this far,” said Michael LaRosa. “We’re rededicating the new LaRosa’s Boudinot to the next generation of Guests and Team Members and know they’ll enjoy it well into the future,” he concluded.

The LaRosa’s Boudinot pizzeria was rededicated this morning at 10:30 am with a formal ribbon cutting and swag bags including LaRosa’s merchandise distributed to the first 200 Guests who arrive.
