BADER+SIMON ANNOUNCES RESPECTED ARTS ADVOCATE AS NEW BOARD MEMBER
Sara Vance Waddell to Enhance Commitment to Underrepresented Artists
CINCINNATI, OH – May 6, 2024 – Bader+Simon, a national arts organization dedicated to spotlighting underrepresented artists and championing compelling expressions of art, announces the appointment of Sara Vance Waddell to its Board of Directors.
Sara Vance Waddell is a community advocate, philanthropist, noted social justice advocate, art collector, and dedicated champion of underrepresented artists. With a particular passion for supporting women artists, Vance Waddell has assembled one of the largest collections of women's art in the Midwest, featuring local, national, and international artists. She frequently lends her collection to institutions worldwide, furthering the exposure of underrepresented artists on a global scale.
With extensive community and arts involvement, Ms. Vance Waddell currently serves in board leadership roles for the Advisory Board for the National Museum for Women in the Arts and Wave Pool in Cincinnati, among others. She is also trustee emeritus for Cincinnati’s ArtWorks, and past co-chair for Ohio Advisory Group. She has been recognized with countless awards for her continuous arts and community involvement, including the House Advocate Award from the Ronald McDonald House and the Heart for the Arts Award from Learning Through Art, among others.
