AVIATRA ACCELERATORS ANNOUNCES GALENTINE’S DAY GALA TO RAISE FUNDS FOR LOCAL WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS
Two Highly Successful Aviatra Alumni to Headline Event; Share How They Built Their Businesses into Multimillion Dollar Enterprises
CINCINNATI, OH – February 1, 2024 – Aviatra Accelerators, a non-profit accelerator dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs through education, connections, and resources, will host an inaugural Galentine’s Day Gala Fashion Show and Fundraiser on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Alcove by MadTree Brewing’s Loft in Over-The-Rhine.
Galentine’s Day is the holiday created for the day before Valentine’s Day as a time primarily for women to celebrate their friendships. The Aviatra Galentine’s Day Gala aims to provide a meaningful evening for women and their friends, to connect, be inspired, and empower women in the community.
Aviatra Alumni who have achieved significant entrepreneurial success will share their stories; they include Jessica Wright, Aviatra class of 2023, and Lisa Woodruff, Aviatra class of 2015. Jessica Wright, owner of Wright Workforce Solutions, a full-service, minority and woman-owned business, specializing in providing sustainable workforce solutions, was recognized as the fan favorite pitch award winner for the Aviatra class of 2023, and is a member of the Cincinnati Business Courier's 40 under 40 list.
Lisa Woodruff is the founder of Organize 365, one of the largest women-owned businesses in Cincinnati, the author of several books and the host of the Organize 365 podcast – which currently has over 17 million downloads. Organize 365 offers practical and functional skills for home and paper organization. Lisa and Organize 365 have been profiled in The New York Times, Fast Company, and U.S. News & World Report, among other media outlets.
The event will include a fashion show highlighting local boutiques' clothing styled by regional stylists, flower arranging demonstrations by a local florist and a silent auction. Event tickets are $100 for one or $150 for a pair; women are encouraged to bring a friend. Aviatra also offers the "Tiara Ticket," which includes one gala ticket and a $50 donation, allowing guests to wear a tiara all night as a symbol of their generosity. Each ticket includes a complimentary drink, and all proceeds support Aviatra’s mission.
