Ongoing Banfield Support Helps Provide Cincinnati Pets the Care They Deserve
CINCINNATI, OH – March 6, 2018 – Pets In Need of Greater Cincinnati has received a $10,000 Veterinary Assistance Grant from the Banfield Foundation that will provide core vaccines for dogs and cats from low-income homes.
The grant will cover 80% of the budgeted cost of all vaccines provided at the Pets In Need clinic in the community of Lockland during 2018, serving approximately 1,600 pets.
Through its mission to enhance the wellness of pets and communities across the country, the Banfield Foundation and its predecessor Banfield Charitable Trust, have supported Pets In Need since 2013.
“Banfield’s support over the last five years has greatly benefited the lives of our clients and their pets. Pets In Need is fortunate to have the support of a foundation whose mission so closely aligns with our own. We are beyond grateful for the continued generosity of the Banfield Foundation”, said Ann Hill, Pets In Need Executive Director.
Now in its fifth year of operation, Pets In Need of Greater Cincinnati currently serves more than 3,800 pets from low-income households and is the only resource of its kind in the region.
