FARUKI EXPANDS ITS CORPORATE COUNSELING AND OUTSIDE GENERAL COUNSEL PRACTICE

CINCINNATI, OHIO – June 30, 2023 – Faruki PLL, an established business law firm in Dayton and Cincinnati announces the expansion of its Corporate Counseling and Outside General Counsel practice with the addition of Patrick Crotty, former Associate General Counsel of altafiber’s CBTS Technology Solutions business. Serving as a corporate counselor for over a decade, Mr. Crotty will contribute to the continued expansion of Faruki’s Corporate Counseling and Outside General Counsel practice. Faruki PLL focuses on providing corporate counsel assistance to local, regional, and international mid-market companies.

Recently, Faruki also recently expanded its already strong Media Practice with the addition of Jack Greiner and Darren Ford, two well-known Cincinnati media law attorneys.

In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Crotty is also a Certified Information Privacy Manager. Mr. Crotty spent five years as Corporate Counsel at Cincinnati Bell where he furthered the company’s strategies by blending business acumen with practical legal advice, helping to established new products, services, and sales channels, and negotiating hundreds of customer and supplier agreements. Promoted as Associate General Counsel over CBTS in 2018, he served as an executive leader and trusted advisor for information security and privacy compliance, corporate governance, vendor management, and contract management and negotiation, among other key duties. Over the last year, Mr. Crotty has provided outside corporate counsel services to a large European mid-market client with international reach. Crotty’s career began as a Civil Clerk for Judges Helmick and Ghiz at the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. He is a graduate of St. Xavier High School, the University of Notre Dame, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Crotty is actively engaged in his community coaching grade school sports, and

serving on the leadership team for and volunteering with various groups at Crossroads Church in Oakley.
